A new edutainment website where users create, share and collaborate on drawings and animations. It is a 13 plus website that provides free drawing and animation tools through a browser. No software needs to be downloaded and DoInk works on any computer. It is a safe environment for kids and creativity. DoInk's tools simplify the difficult process of animation, and it transforms the normal solitary process of creating art into an entertaining social activity. DoInk's tools are unique in that they enable collaboration between users, so that content can be shared and reused. Users can reuse each other's art for their own story, or they can collaborate on specific projects. DoInk is a place where kids can learn and be creative, all inside a fun supportive and highly engage community. We have seen great success with this program in diverse subjects. We even have a Mandarin Chinese class work on projects on the site. Obviously this website fits in perfectly for Computer Science and Computer Graphics classes as well.
